Kevlar Thread is knitted by the special process and mainly sorted into the filament and staple thread. We usually use it to sew the joint of PTFE belt and the Kevlar conducting bar.
 
Filament Kevlar thread is featured as the bellows:

1. High strength and high modulus mechanical property. It has extremely strong hydrogen bond force. The specific strength is five to six times the one  of steel wire. Specific modulus is 2 to 3 times the one of steel wire or glass fiber. The toughness is 2 times the one of the steel wire while its weight is just one fifth of it.
2. High temperature resistance. It can work continuously under the temperature from -196 to 204℃.Even it will not break down and melt under the temperature of 500℃.
3. Good resistance to chemical organic solvent, acid-base and corrosion.

Staple Kevlar thread is composed of the filament yarn firstly curved and then cut into average pieces. It has the unique advantage of crush resistance and flame retardancy so that it can be specially used in heat resistant non-woven fabrics, spinning industry, covering yarn and anti-cutting industry. Its linear density includes 1.5D and 4D and the length ranges from 3mm, 6mm, 38mm, 51mm, 76mm and etc.
