Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric belongs to silicone fabric. Compared with the
silicone calendared fiberglass fabric, it is often quite thin in thickness such as 0.18mm,0.25mm, 0.35mm and 0.45mm. It is composed of good-qualified fiberglass coated with silicone rubber on both sides or either side.
Silicone coated fiberglass fabric has such properties as high temperature and weather resistance. Human beings often make use of it as a best electric insulator, as it can withstand dielectric constant 3～3.2, break down voltage between 20～50KV/m. In the meantime, it is much soft and tough so that it can be easily covered on any pipeline to prevent the bad working environment.
Often, it is most suitable to be used as the insulation cloth and sleeves. Also, it can be used as sealing material, temperature resistant and anti-corrosion conveyer belt and packaging material. You may find that it has been used as shrink oven, fireproof curtain, isolated liner.
