Silicone calendared fiberglass fabric is composed of high-strengthened fiberglass cloth and good –qualified silicone rubber. When we mix them perfectly, they become a new developing high-performance and versatile product . Compared with the
silicone coated fiberglass fabric, it is often quite thick in thickness such as 1.1mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm.
Silicone calendared fiberglass fabric is heat resistant so that it can work continuously from -40℃ to 300℃. It has high strength and good insulation of different level.
As the unique features of temperature resistance, anti-corrosion, anti-aging, and good elasticity and toughness, it has been widely used as non-metallic compensator which helps to avoid damage caused by heat expansion and cold contraction. As a result, it is more and more popular in the industries of petroleum, chemical engineering, cement, iron and steel and energy sources.
Actually, it is an ideal anti-corrosion material. It can be used as inner an outer anti-corrosion layer to protect the pipeline.
